Hands off Handling Cooperative Care

Hands off Handling is a style of cooperative care that teaches your dog how to cooperate and participate with us in the process of grooming, veterinary care, and any other handling we may need to do for their health or safety. Some of these activities simply aren’t comfortable by nature (vaccines, cleaning lacerations, checking for injuries). However, showing our dogs that they *do* have choices, expands their tolerance to accept and participate in grooming and vet care.
